NOTE These instructions only apply to Raspberry Pi based Time Machines. If you bought your Time Machine after January, 2024, you have a Micro Time Machine, which does not currently support Bluetooth

This page provides a list of bluetooth devices which users have tested with their Time Machines. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all devices which will work.

If you are having trouble getting your bluetooth device to connect to your Time Machine, and it is not in the list of compatible devices, it is possible that the device is incompatible with the Time Machine for reasons which even the magicians at Spertilo cannot decipher. We would love to help you get it working, but we may simply be unable to.
